Left Front Upper Body Outlet Motor, Comfort

‹› A potentiometer with an adjustment range of 120 ° is installed in this control motor, its part number at the start of production has index " A".

‹› This control motor is installed only on vehicles equipped with the " Comfort" A/C system. In vehicles with a "Basic" A/C system, this control

motor is installed on the right side of the A/C unit => [ Front Upper Body Outlet Motors ] See: Front Upper Body Outlet Motors.

‹› In vehicles equipped with the "Basic" A/C system, there is no control motor installed at this location. 

‹› On vehicles with "Basic" version A/C system, the front left and right chest vent doors are operated by the Control Motor for the Front Left Chest

Vent (V237) (the doors are connected via a shaft=> [ Connection between Left and Right Upper Body Outlet Door, Basic A/C

‹› Mark motor/door connecting elements when removing (danger of swapping with connecting elements of the other actuator motors).

‹› Mark the control motors prior to removing them, follow the correct assignment when installing and the correct part number and index when

replacing (the various control motors have different electrical values and are different in the part number index).

‹› In the event of fault "Upper or lower limit value exceeded", check connecting element of engine/door, it must be attached to engine accurate to

side and there must not be any clearance between actuator mount and connecting element.

Removing

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove the outer dash panel completely.

‹› If applicable, obtain radio anti-theft code before disconnecting battery.

Loosen the latches - B - and remove the air duct -  A -.

Mark the connector - C - to the left front upper body outlet motor (V237) if necessary. Otherwise it could be interchanged with other identical
connectors.
