Pull gas discharge lamp - 2 - out of headlamp housing. 

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Insert the new HID bulb into the housing without touching the bulb with bare hands.

‹› Observe installation position: Upper tab at bulb socket must engage at recess for gas discharge lamp.

Secure gas discharge lamp using securing clip.

‹› Harness connector must only be connected with ignition coil installed.

Check if recess in housing of ignition coil for gas discharge lamp and recess in pressure ring align completely with each other - arrows  -.

-

Attach ignition coil for gas discharge lamp to headlamp and fasten clockwise until stop.

‹› Ignition coil must turn freely.

‹› Arrow on housing points upward.

Connect harness connector.

If installed, secure electrical harness connector using securing clip.

Close the housing lid.
