Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair

Reservoir and Suction Hoses, Installation Position

Installation location: Reservoir to bracket; applies to all engines except the 10-cylinder TFSI

Install reservoir to the ESP hydraulic unit bracket as illustrated. 

Reservoir, installation location on bracket

Install reservoir in the tensioning band as shown in the illustration. 

The marking - 1 - must be in the center - 2  - of the tensioner.

Installation location: Intake hose to reservoir; applies to all engines except the 10-cylinder TFSI
