Coupling rod, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G. 1331

Removing

Applies to vehicles with air spring suspension 

-

Position vehicle on lifting platform.

Applies to all vehicles

-

Remove bolts - 2 - and - 4 -.

-

Remove coupling rod.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note:
-

For vehicles with air spring suspension, set vehicle on its wheels.
