Tape off vehicle door with adhesive tape - 2 - below window shaft strip - 1 -.

Bend window shaft strip - 1 - back - arrow -.

The support - 2 - remains riveted or clipped in vehicle.

Pry window shaft strip - 1 - upward from support at sides using plastic wedge.

-

Lightly flare trim strip - 1 - at upper edge - arrows - with plastic wedge.

-

Coat this edge and the support with soapy solution.
