Radiator: Service and Repair

Removing 

-

Remove front bumper.

-

Drain coolant at drain plug (arrow).

-

Disengage retaining clips on connecting flange (arrow) and disconnect coolant hoses from radiator.

-

Disconnect harness connector from coolant fan control thermal switch on radiator (bottom-left).

Vehicles with automatic transmission 
-

Remove ATF lines/hoses from radiator.

All models 

-

Detach cooling lines (arrows) for power steering hydraulic fluid.

Vehicles with air conditioning 

CAUTION: 
-

Disconnect A/C refrigerant line brackets and support points only.

-

DO NOT open the air conditioning refrigerant circuit.

-

Avoid damage from bending. Refrigerant lines kink easily.

-

Disconnect air cowls from radiator -4- (left and right-sides).
