Explanation of factory codes
Various suspension versions are available worldwide as optional equipment. These are identified by special factory codes listed on the vehicle data label
(located in the spare wheel recess and in the vehicle Maintenance booklet).

Example of vehicle data label

In this example the vehicle is installed with standard suspension, version 1BA -arrow-.

Factory suspension codes:

1BA = Standard suspension

1BE = Sport suspension

^

1BG = Standard suspension with self leveling feature

1BB = Heavy duty suspension

1BH = USA

Service
Currently US and Canadian vehicles are equipped with factory code 1BH suspension systems.

When an alignment becomes necessary, use alignment specifications as listed in the Repair Manual for 1BA (standard suspension).
