The Deactivating or Reactivating procedure should only be done at the customer's written and signed request (see request form).
Note:
Please make copies of the request form as needed.
Deactivation
If a customer requests Deactivation of the rear side Airbags, both of the following steps must be performed.
1.

Recode control module to switch rear side airbags OFF.
2.

Electrically disconnect rear side Airbag units.
