Transmission Wiring Harness, Removing and Installing

TRANSMISSION WIRING HARNESS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

Removing 

Removing and installing valve body. Refer to Valve Body.

Using a small screwdriver, pry out retaining tabs on solenoid valve connectors, and pull off harness connectors -A- one after the other.

Disengage wiring harness from retainers -B- on side of valve body.

Turn valve body over, and disconnect connector from sensor for transmission RPM -1-.

Remove first retaining clip (arrow -A-) and unclip harness from second retaining clip (arrow -B-).

Disconnect connector -2- from solenoid valve 4 -N91-.

Installing 

Installation is the reverse of removal.

When installing harness, connect harness connectors onto respective solenoid valves.

Clip wiring harness into retaining clips provided.

CAUTION:  If not installed correctly, the wiring harness can be trapped when the valve body is installed.
