About the A8
The A8 is Audi's full-size luxury saloon, made since 1994 as the successor to the Audi V8. It was the first mass-market car with an aluminium body structure, the Audi Space Frame, developed with Alcoa. It has been offered with front- or permanent all-wheel drive and in short and long-wheelbase versions (the A8L).
