Remove 4 securing screws -A- (in passenger compartment).

Remove 2 securing nuts -B- (in passenger compartment).

Remove air conditioner housing complete (to interior).

CAUTION! Immediately plug open connections on A/C components and lines to prevent dirt and moisture contamination.

NOTE:

-

Check that damper element -C- is correctly located.

-

Check coolant hoses to the heater cores (bottom hose = coolant supply, top hose = coolant return).

-

Always replace gasket -A- (between plenum and air conditioner housing).

-

When installing the air conditioner housing, do not pinch the wiring to the servo motors (in plenum) and do not damage gasket -A- at the stay
bolts.

Connect coolant hoses to the engine correctly (pay attention to marking made).

-

Coolant pump -V50- of pump valve unit must not be operated until after bleeding the cooling system (dry running causes damage to the pump).
For this reason, do not plug in the 2-pin connector to the pump valve unit until after bleeding the cooling system.

Bleed cooling system

-

Check that grommets for coolant hoses between engine compartment and plenum are correctly located after installation.

-

Check that condensation drain hoses are correctly located.
