Brake Pads, Checking

Front Disc Brake Pads

CAUTION!
At a pad thickness of 11 mm (including backing plate) the brake pads have reached their wear limit and must be replaced (repair
measure). Inform the customer.

‹› To check lining thickness, you must remove front wheels.

‹› Before removing, mark the placement of the wheels to each brake disc and reinstall wheels in same position after checking.

Wear limit: 11 mm

CAUTION!
 The following values listed in the table apply to ceramic front brakes.

The pads must always be replaced when pad thickness is 9.5 mm (including backing plate). 

Please inform the customer.

Rear Disc Brake Pads

CAUTION!
At a pad thickness of 8 mm (including backing plate) the brake pads have reached their wear limit and must be replaced (repair
measure). Inform the customer.

‹› To check lining thickness, you must remove rear wheels.

‹› Before removing, mark the placement of the wheels to each brake disc and reinstall wheels in same position after checking.
