Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

Before installing air intake housing, seal housing joint at areas marked - C - and - D - thoroughly with silicone sealant D 176 001 A3.

Seal grommet through which wiring harness is routed into air conditioner (to Fresh Air Blower Control Module J126) with silicone sealant D 176
001 A3 (to prevent ingress of water into air conditioner through grommet or past grommet).

Install the removed components again in reverse order.
NOTE:
-
If there are complaints about moisture (evaporator on windshield, odor), a sponge rubber strip dia 3 mm - A - should be inserted in addition to
sealing measures described, starting and finishing at area - B -. In the area marked - B -, in which the groove is narrower, there should be no
sponge rubber strip.

Use commercially available sponge rubber strip, soft type dia 3 mm.

Check DTC memory of Climatronic Control Module J255 and erase DTCs displayed if necessary. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information
System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Perform basic setting and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) on the A/C system. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
in "Guided Fault Finding" function.
