‹› Remove old and dry high-temperature grease from CV joints and flanges for driveshaft. Fill with the exact same amount of high temperature

grease (G 052 133 A2).

‹› Threaded holes in flange shaft at rear final drive must be cleaned of locking compound residue. Use a thread cutter to clean the holes. Otherwise

the bolts could break off when being installed.

‹› After disconnecting driveshaft from rear final drive, an additional balance washer (thick washer) that may be located between shim and a bolt may

not be reinstalled.

‹› Always replace (self-locking) securing bolts for driveshaft.

Replace seal for driveshaft at rear final drive flange. Remove grease from sealing surfaces and adhere new seal.

Make sure that the markings on flange for driveshaft - arrow A - and for rear final drive - arrow B - line up.

Attach the driveshaft to the rear final drive with new bolts - arrows -.
