Remove cover and cushion of backrest => [ Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats ] See: .

Replace cover with backrest heating element.

Bonded Backrest Heating Element

Remove seat => [ Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

-

Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

-

Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

-

Remove the backrest => [ Front Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

Remove cover and cushion of backrest => [ Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats ] See:  and => [ Front Seat Cushion and
Upholstery, Power Memory Seats ] See: .

Cut off wires - 2 - (Qty. 2) at positions -  A - (Qty. 2) from old heating elements - 1 - (Qty. 2).

-

Align heating elements - 1 - (Qty. 2) on seat side bolsters, remove protective foil and glue heat element to upholstery surfaces.
