  ‹› The electronic parking brake must now be re-calibrated.

Requirements

  ‹› Electronic parking brake must be released.

‹› The selector lever must be in "P".

Switch ignition off, remove ignition key and lock steering wheel lock.

The re-calibration is performed as follows:

  ‹› The electronic parking brake audibly travels up and back down.

‹› Then the air gap adjusts itself.

Wait until this process is completed.

The re-calibration is now finished.

The DTC memory is then erased.

After inserting brake pads and before driving for the first time, press brake pedal strongly several times while parked so that brake pads
are properly seated in their normal operating position.

Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
