Front exhaust pipe

‹› With flex joint

CAUTION!
Risk of damaging decoupling elements in front exhaust pipe.

‹›  Do not bend decoupling elements in front exhaust pipe more than 10°.

‹› In original equipment as one unit with front muffler. For repairs, replace each separately.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to: Left => [ Left Front Muffler ] See: Left Front Muffler, right => [ Right Front Muffler ] See: Right Front

Muffler

‹› Separating point => [ Separate the exhaust pipes at the separating point using at a right angle. ] See: Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Front

‹› Install exhaust system free of stress, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

Front muffler

‹› In original equipment as one unit with front exhaust pipe. For repairs, replace each separately.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to: Left => [ Left Front Muffler ] See: Left Front Muffler, right => [ Right Front Muffler ] See: Right Front

Muffler

‹› Separating point => [ Separate the exhaust pipes at the separating

point using at a right angle. ] See: Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Front Exhaust Pipe and Front Muffler, Separating

‹› Install exhaust system free of stress, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

Nut

‹› 23 Nm

Clamping sleeve in the center

‹› Position clamping sleeve centrally to separation point

‹› Installed location => [ Installation position of front and center clamping

sleeves ] 

‹› Before tightening, align exhaust system so that it is tension-free, refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement

‹› Tighten threaded connections evenly.

Front clamping sleeve

‹› For individual replacement of front exhaust pipe and front muffler

‹› Position clamping sleeve centrally to separation point
