Alignment: Removal and Replacement

Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor

The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) sensor is located behind the front bumper cover.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench (5-60 Nm) (VAG 1783)

Removing

-

Remove the front bumper cover.

-

Disengage the clip - 1 - for the wiring harness - 2 -.

-

Remove the bolts - 1 -.

-

Remove the sensor with the bracket and disconnect the electrical connector.

-

Remove the sensor from the bracket if necessary.

Installing

‹› Studs in bracket are preset. Do not change the adjustment.

-

Lay the bracket on a level surface.
