Cellular Phone Microphone: Service and Repair

Microphone Unit (in Front Roof Module) -R164-, Removing And Installing

The microphone unit in the front roof module (front interior light) contains two microphones.

The microphone unit cannot be disassembled or serviced (replace complete unit).

Removing

-

Remove front roof module.

-

Unclip electrical connection -2- from mount on module -1-.

-

Unclip microphones -2- from mount in direction of -arrow-.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order of removal.
