Seat Side Bolster with Bonded Heating Element

Remove seat => [ Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

-

Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

-

Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

-

Remove the backrest => [ Front Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

Remove cover and padding from seat pan => [ Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats
- Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats.

Remove side bolster => [ Seat Side Cushion and Upholstery ]. See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats - Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Cushion
and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats/Seat Side Cushion and Upholstery

Cut off cable - 1 - (Qty. 2) at - A - positions (Qty. 2).

-

Align heating element - 2 - (Qty. 2) on seat side bolsters - 3 -, remove protective foil and glue heat element to upholstery surfaces.
