Carefully take brake master cylinder out of brake booster.

Installing

When installing, observe the following:

  ‹› Before installing brake booster, clean plenum chamber of remaining escaping brake fluid.

‹› When installing together the brake master cylinder and brake booster, make sure that the push rod is correctly located in the brake master cylinder.

Adjust brake light switch. Refer to => [ Brake Light Switch ] See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement.

Bleed brake system. Refer to => [ Brake System, Bleeding ] See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair/Brake System, Bleeding.

Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
