Yaw Rate Sensor: Procedures
Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200-and Sender for rotation rate -G202, removing and installing
The Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200- and the Sender for rotation rate -G202- are integrated in one housing. The housing is located on the
front tunnel below the air conditioner.
Removing:

Remove extension of center console.

Disconnect connector off Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate.

Remove the two securing bolts -arrows-.

Take out Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate.
Installing:
WARNING: Severe shocks or jolts can damage the Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate.

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence
When installing make sure Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate is correctly seated in its bracket and is free of stress.
Do not use the securing bolts to force the Sensor for transverse acceleration/Sender for rotation rate in position.

Tighten securing bolts to 10 Nm.

When replacing the control module, select function "Replacing" for the relevant control module in the "Guided fault finding".
To do this, use vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
