Press each of the cartridges -1- carefully past the MIN mark -2- in the tank without damaging the silicate cartridge

The correct positioning of the silicate cartridges -1- is shown in the illustration.

On vehicles on which the coolant expansion tank has no MIN mark, the four silicate cartridges should be positioned as shown in the illustration. Two
silicate cartridges -3- are inserted in one chamber of the tank.

Check and Replace Idler Roller as necessary

Open hood and check if vehicle has already been fitted with updated plastic upper idler roller by visually checking existing roller, if plastic upper idler
roller with cap is already installed, no further work is necessary.

Before raising vehicle on a hoist (wheels off the ground), first activate the vehicle jack mode.

Mark the direction of rotation with chalk or a felt pen before removing the ribbed belt.

Vehicle does not need to be put into service position.

To remove belt, loosen belt tension by rotating tensioner as shown (direction of arrow) using 19 mm box wrench. When the two holes are aligned
insert locking pin T10060.
