Remove the ribbed belt.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› Check the alignment of the ribbed belt after replacing the following components. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt Alignment, Checking ] See: Testing

and Inspection:

‹› Power steering pump

‹› Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor

‹› Accessory bracket (for the power steering pump and A/C compressor)

Place the ribbed belt over the belt pulleys in the specified sequence.

1. Upper idler pulley

2. Crankshaft

3. Lower idler pulley

4. Power steering pump

5. A/C compressor

6. Ribbed belt tensioner
