Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Engine support bridge (10-222A)

‹› Shackle (10-222A/12)

‹› Adapter (10-222A/21)

‹› Pry lever - RMV outside mirror (80-200)

‹› Old oil collecting and extracting device (VAG 1782)

‹› Hand drill with plastic brush attachment

‹› Protective eyewear

‹› Silicone sealant

‹› Block of wood, 50 x 50 x 50 mm

Removing

‹› Before raising the vehicle on a hoist (wheels off the ground), activate the vehicle lift mode.

Remove the rubber seal - 1 - for the plenum chamber cover.

-

Remove the plenum chamber covers - 2 and 3 -.

-

Remove the engine cover - 1 - upward.
