Press in seal using thrust piece T40007 and central bolt.

Turn thrust ring front to back and install on crankshaft.

Note:

The reason for fuming the thrust ring is to allow the new oil seal to run on a new sealing surface..

The previously marked side of the thrust ring should now face the engine.

Install crankshaft sprocket -1- with new central bolt -2-.

Note:

The contact surface between the toothed belt sprocket and the crankshaft must be free of oil.

^

Do not oil the crankshaft sprocket bolt.

^

Watch washer under tensioning lever.

The remaining installation steps are performed in the reverse sequence. Note the following points:

Secure all hose connections with the correct hose clamps (same as original equipment)

Install toothed belt (adjust valve timing).
