Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove engine.

Only for left exhaust manifold

-

Remove guide pipe for oil dipstick (arrow).

Both exhaust manifolds

-

Remove exhaust pipe with catalytic converter.

-

Unbolt exhaust manifold (arrows).

Installing

NOTE:

-

Always replace self-locking nuts.

-

Replace gaskets.

-

Replace sealing ring for guide tube for oil dipstick

-

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Tightening torques

Threaded connection

Tightening torques

Exhaust manifold to cylinder head

25 Nm

Guide tube for oil dipstick to cylinder head

22 Nm
