Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Procedures

High-mount Brake Light, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  Entire high-mount brake light must be replaced if LEDs malfunction.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Pry lever 80-200

Removing

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-

Do not depress brake pedal

-

Use pry lever 80-200 to pry cover grille with high-level brake light out of rear shelf -arrow 1-.

-

Pull out cover grille in direction of -arrow 2-.

-

Disconnect electrical connector -1-.

-

Remove screws -arrows-.

-

Remove light from cover grille.
