Battery Switch-off Relay -J655-, Removing And Installing

Removing

CAUTION:  On vehicles fitted with telematics system, activate telematics control module service mode before disconnecting battery. Use VAS Vehicle
Diagnostic Testing and Information System in mode: "Guided Fault Finding".

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-

Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal.

-

Remove right luggage compartment side trim cover -arrows-.

-

Remove battery terminal covers -1- and -2-.

-

Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal -2-

-

Disconnect positive ( B+ ) battery terminal -3-.

-

Release catch -1- and open flap over battery switch-off relay.
