Disconnect the pressure hose - 2 - from the AIR pump motor (V101) and blow into it with light pressure (do not use pressurized air).

‹› Both AIR combination valves must be closed, it must not be possible to blow through the hose.

Operate the (VAG 1390).

‹› The relevant AIR combination valve must open, it must not be possible to blow through

If the relevant AIR combination valve does not open:

Replace the AIR combination valve, refer to one of the following:

‹› Left side, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Combination Valve ] See: Catalytic Converter/Service and Repair/Left Side Components.

‹› Right side, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Combination Valve ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and
