Steering wheel

Remove Drivers Side Airbag Igniter N95 - 5 -

-

Turn steering wheel to center position (wheels in straight-ahead position).

-

Remove multi-point socket head bolt - 4 -.

-

Heated steering wheel: disconnect connector for heated steering wheel - 11 -.

-

If steering wheel to be removed is to be re-installed, mark position of steering wheel in relation to steering column.

Remove steering wheel - 1 -.

Installing
Wheels must be in straight-ahead position when installing steering wheel.

Attach steering wheel - 1 -.
On installing removed steering wheel: Make sure marks on steering column and steering wheel coincide.
On installing new steering wheel (no marks): Steering wheel must be mounted in center position (spoke horizontal and wheels in
straight-ahead position).

Install new bolt - 4 - and tighten to specified torque.

Heated steering wheel: Connect connector for heated steering wheel - 11 - at coupling for heated steering wheel - 13 -. Connector - 11 -
must be heard to fully engage.

Install Drivers Side Airbag Igniter N95

-

Perform test drive.

-

If steering wheel is not straight, remove it again and adjust it on steering column splines.

Tone bolts T30 (2x)

Multi-point socket head bolt

Tightening torque: 50 Nm
