‹› Removing and installing the steering wheel is the same for all steering wheel versions.

‹› On steering wheels with heater, the connector for steering wheel heater is also to be disconnected.

1 - Steering wheel

Remove airbag unit - 5 - => [ Driver Airbag ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Driver Airbag.

Bring steering wheel to center position (wheels straight).

Remove hex socket heat bolt - 4 -.

-

With steering wheel heating: Remove steering wheel heating connector - 11 -.

If the steering wheel that will be removed should be re-installed, then mark position of steering wheel to steering column.

Remove steering wheel - 1 -.

‹› Installing

When installing steering wheel, wheels must be in straight-ahead position.

Install steering wheel - 1 -.
