  ‹› Do not bend the selector lever cable.

Remove the spring pin - 1 - on the selector shaft lever - 2 - - arrow - until it is possible to remove the lever from the shaft.

Pierce shaft seal with a small screwdriver and pull out.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Lubricate outer circumference and space between sealing lips with ATF.

  ‹› Installed position: Open side of shaft seal faces transmission.

Press new shaft seal onto selector shaft.

-

Press on new shaft seal as far as the stop using (T10135) and assembly lever - A -, ensuring shaft seal does not distort.
