Pull cover upward slightly until cover guides - 1 - are outside of openings - 2 - on shift mechanism function unit.

Then swivel the rear of the cover towards the top, in the direction of the - arrow -, while simultaneously pulling it over the cross brace of the
center console - 3 -.

Remove the nuts - arrow -.

-

Remove the bracket - A - from the studs for activation of the manual release.

-

Press the 4 brackets - B - for the shift mechanism function unit and secure it, for example with wire.

-

Lift the vehicle.
