Transmission Mount: Procedures
Front Transmission Support and Transmission Mounting, Removing and Installing
Front transmission support and transmission mounting, removing and installing
^
Raise vehicle on a four post platform hoist or drive over a service pit where all four wheels can remain on ground.
^
Disconnect air guide -1 from transmission
^
Remove sound insulation -2- under engine compartment.
^
Remove bolts -1- and -2- at rear of subframe on both sides of vehicle.
^
Remove supports for subframe -A-.
^
Remove both bolts -B-at right and left for securing transmission mount to subframe.
Note: Both front transmission mounts must always be loosened from the subframe.
