Slide back the Constant Velocity (CV) joint boot.

Guide the (T40018) behind the joint piece.
The guide pins - 1 - must contact joint.

Bring the (T40018) into contact with the joint piece by turning the knurled thumb screws - 2 -.
‹› Secure the joint piece without play in the (T40018).
‹› Tighten the knurled thumb screws - 2 - by hand only.

Install the (VW 771) to the (T40018).
