Telephone/Telematics Control Module

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine. 

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

CAUTION!
‹› Switch off all electrical components.

‹› Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Move the driver's seat completely to the rear.

-

Fold back the floor mat.

-

Disengage cover of electronics box and open the box - arrows  -.

Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526) and Emergency Battery (Telematics) (A16) are only wedged into the electronics box.

Pry Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526) - 1 - out of electronics box - 2 - in -  direction of arrow -.

-

Disconnect all harness connectors at Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526).
