Head Restraint Adjustment Motor, Removing And Installing

Retainer plate with head restraint adjustment motor
Removing
-

Remove head restraints.

-

Remove seat.

-

Attach Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.

-

Attach front seat to Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.

-

Remove side trim on outboard side.

-

Remove side trim on inboard side.

-

Remove front trim.

-

Remove bracket for seat side trim.

-

Remove backrest.

-

Remove upper backrest cover panel.

-

Remove lower backrest cover panel.

-

Remove head restraint guides.

-

Remove backrest cover and padding.

-

Disconnect connector - 3 -.

-

Remove wiring harness from retainer plate with head restraint adjustment motor - 2 - - Drill out rivets - 4 - (2x).

-

Slide retainer plate with head restraint adjustment motor - 2 - upward out of retainers 1-(2x).

-

Replace retainer plate with head restraint adjustment motor - 2 -.

Installing
-

Install retainer plate with head restraint adjustment motor - 2 - in reverse order of removal.
