Secure engine support bridge (10-222 A) with supports (10-222 A/21) to the strut towers.

‹› Support for left and right side of vehicle is marked.

‹› The middle contact point - 2 - of the support is placed on the front bolts for strut tower brace.

‹› The supports (10-222 A/21) are secured with the rear bolts - 3 - for strut tower brace.

‹› The knurled thumb screw - 1 - must be turned downward far enough so that the contact plate rests on the strut tower.

Secure spindles of the Engine Support Bridge (10-222 A) at the rear engine lifting eyes.

Strongly pre-tension the engine using the engine support bridge spindles.

Remove both front wheels.

‹› Secure brake discs using a wheel bolts.

-

Loosen quick-release fasteners - 1 - and - 2 - and remove noise insulation.
