Detach air duct for auxiliary cooler.

-

Place drip tray for workshop crane (VAS 6208) or drip tray (V.A.G 1306) under engine.

-

Disconnect front coolant hose from auxiliary cooler - arrow - and drain coolant.

-

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Disconnect coolant hoses - arrows -.

-

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Remove auxiliary cooler.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

-

Install front bumper cover.

-

Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.
