Place drip tray (V.A.G 1306) or drip tray (VAS 6208) under engine.

-

Disconnect coolant hose - arrow -.

-

Remove bolts in the sequence - 1 to 7 -.

-

Remove oil filter housing.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace seals and O-rings.

‹› Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

Tighten oil filter housing bolts in sequence - 1 to 7 -. 

-

Install front oil pipe => [ Front Oil Pipe ] See: Oil Line/Service and Repair. 

-

Align subframe according to the markings on the longitudinal members. 

-

Tighten bolts for subframe only to specified torque. Do not tighten further (tighten bolts only after axle alignment).

1. 50 Nm

2. 150 Nm
