Installing

Carefully press intake neck of ATF strainer - A - into opening of transmission until stop.

Note the following when replacing with a new ATF strainer: 

‹› The ATF strainer only requires replacement when it is damaged.

Carefully remove seal for ATF strainer - A - from transmission, e.g. using a screwdriver.

‹› Do not damage sealing surface.

‹› The illustration shows seal with mechatronics unit removed.

‹› The new ATF strainer is supplied with the seal in place.

Carefully press intake neck of new ATF strainer - A - into opening of transmission until stop.
