Fuel Gauge Sender: Component Locations

Fuel tank with attachments, component overview 

1. Securing strap

With spacer, installed location

2. 22 Nm 
3. Fuel supply line

From fuel filter

To fuel rail

^

To disconnect, press release tab on connection piece

4. Fuel return line

From engine

^

To disconnect, press release tab on connection piece

Clip in on fuel tank

5. Vent pipe
6. Ground connection

To eliminate electrostatic charge

^

Installed position / check requirements

Make sure the connector is seated securely.

After installation, use an ohmmeter to check the electrical connection of the fuel filler tube on a bare metal part on the body. Specification: 
approximately 0 ohms 

7. Cap
8. Oil seal

^

Replace if damaged

9. 22 Nm 

10. Electrical harness connector
