Shift Cable: Testing and Inspection

Selector lever cable, checking and adjusting, 09E, 6 Speed A/T 

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry lever 80-200

Checking

Shift selector lever into "P" position.

Activate the vehicle jack mode.

Note:

Before raising the vehicle on a hoist (wheels off the ground), first activate the vehicle jack mode.

Raise vehicle.

Remove cover plate from selector shaft lever.
