Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair
Parking brake switch
Informs ABS control module (w/EDL) -J104 whether or not the parking brake is applied. This information is required because the parking brake
influences the ESP control function.
The ABS solenoid valve relay -J106- and ABS return flow pump relay -J105 are no longer integrated in the ABS hydraulic unit -N55-, as in the Bosch
type 5.0 system. They are now located in the relay carrier below the driver's-side storage compartment
