Rear Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Removing

-

Remove rear side trim panel.

-

Disconnect electrical connector.

-

Remove door component carrier.

-

Mark position of window regulator motor in slots at mounting points.

-

Remove mounting nuts (arrows).

-

Remove window regulator motor from mounting studs and turn motor over.

-

Remove Torx(R) screws (arrows) from housing cover.

-

Remove housing cover carefully.

NOTE:  Make sure cable does not jump off cable pulley (arrow).

-

Remove cable pulley (arrow) from window regulator motor with care.

-

Insert tie-wrap through center of cable pulley to secure cable on pulley.
