The Audi Cabriolet will be supplied with Radio controlled Central Locking starting week 36/94. Technical changes will be introduced beginning m.y.
1996

This Technical Bulletin contains all information needed for repair. Troubleshooting procedures are also included.

Remote Operated Central locking, repairing

Vehicle can be locked and unlocked without using mechanical vehicle key.

To open, press transmitter UNLOCK button for approximately 1 second. Open doors/or luggage compartment lid within approximately 30 seconds after
radio signal is sent, otherwise vehicle will lock again automatically.

To lock, press transmitter LOCK button for approximately one (1) second.

Note:

Ignition on deactivates remote control function.

Depending on environmental conditions, the range is 3 to 5 meters (10 to 15 feet).

Remote control can be interrupted temporarily because of interference from other microwave signals in area.

When LOCKING/UNLOCKING, turn signals are activated (flash).
