Convertible Top Cover, Replacing (With Headliner Removed)

Convertible top cover, replacing (with headliner removed) 

Convertible top seals, removing and installing

Headliner removed.

Removing front seal 

- 

Remove screws (arrows) from seal retaining strip -1-.

- 

Bend roof frame seal -1- up, remove front screw and loosen screws underneath (arrows).

- 

Remove roof frame seal toward side.

- 

Remove first screw (arrow) and remove support bracket -1-.

Notes: 

‹›  On later versions the support bracket is riveted to the stiffener rail
‹›  When the seal is adjusted correctly, the support bracket must seat against the inside of the seal.
