Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is on.

Various Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in DTC Memory for EGR system.

Normally no driveability complaints exist.

Service

Carefully inspect black EGR vacuum line where it passes over EGR Valve.

Note:

The black vacuum line may-be routed too close to the mechanical EGR Valve. If so, the vacuum line could eventually rub through causing a vacuum
leak which turns on the MIL and stores an EGR malfunction.

Replace black EGR vacuum line if necessary. Ensure that vacuum line is routed away from EGR Valve.
