Work sequence

connect US 1119 between contact 8 and ground

-

switch ignition ON

-

measure voltage

5.0 V

If specified values are not obtained, - repair break in wiring according to wiring diagram OR
-

replace defective light sensor or instrument cluster

connect US 1119 between contact 30 and ground

-

switch ignition ON

-

measure voltage

varies from 0.0 V to 5.0 V depending on illumination in work area
